iCarnegie Facilitates International Offering of
Carnegie Mellon MSIT-MSD Degree

Commencing in January 2006, iCarnegie is facilitating programs through which students outside of Carnegie Mellon University campuses will be able to enroll in a Carnegie Mellon master's degree program in information technology management.

The program is delivered through a joint effort of Carnegie Mellon, iCarnegie, and world-class partner universities.

The first programs will facilitate delivery of the Master of Science in Information Technology, Managing Systems Development, or MSIT-MSD degree, which is designed to meet the demand among employers and employees worldwide for the most modern technical management skills. This professional degree provides and demonstrates a high degree of preparation and knowledge in the modern technical, organizational, and managerial capabilities required by most organizations today, especially those whose business depends on IT.

The MSIT-MSD degree offered through this program is the same credential received by Carnegie Mellon students who study at the Pittsburgh campus. Students in the program will be registered as Carnegie Mellon students. For more on the Carnegie Mellon MSIT degree, see http://www.msit.cmu.edu and http://www.msit.cmu.edu/international.
